Police search for missing man Bernard "Barney" Hanily

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 48-year-old Kilcunda man Bernard "Barny" Hanily.

Barney was last seen at an address on Rees Street about 6pm on 2 April.

Police and family members hold concerns for Barney's welfare due to a medical condition.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and tan coloured ankle-high boots.

Barney is believed to be driving a silver coloured Great Wall ute with registration 1PX 3FQ.

He is known to frequent Korumburra, Melbourne CBD and Phillip Island.

Police have released an image of Barney in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his current whereabouts.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Wonthaggi Police Station on 5671 4100.
