Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing teenager Vera Filuk.
The 16-year-old was last seen leaving her Deer Park address about 3pm today.
Concerns are held for Vera's welfare due to her age.
Vera is described as about 177cm tall with shoulder-length brown hair and was last seen wearing a black raincoat, pink/maroon singlet and black trackpants.
Police have released an image of Vera in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information on her current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Vera is urged to contact Sunshine Police Station on 9313 3333.
