Police search for missing woman, Crestmead

Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to locate a 40-year-old woman reported missing from Crestmead since this morning.

Preliminary information suggests a 36-year-old man attended an address on Shannon Place around 11.45am where he became involved in an altercation with the woman (both pictured below).

The woman then left with the man in a black Ford Territory (similar to pictured) with Qld registration 315YLW.

The woman is described as Pacific Islander, around 165cm tall with dark coloured hair and brown eyes. The man is described as Pacific Islander, around 180cm tall with a shaved head and brown eyes. He also has a distinctive tattoo marking under his right eye.

Police urgently wish to conduct a welfare check on the woman and are asking for anyone who may have seen either the man, woman or vehicle to call Triple 0.
