Police seek help to find missing boy at Burpengary

Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to help locate a 17-year-old boy reported missing from Burpengary.

The boy was last seen around 8:45am this morning at the South Bank Rail Station, walking towards Grey Street.

He is believed to be using the rail network to travel around Brisbane and is known to sleep on rail platforms and frequent parks.

Concerns are held for the boy's welfare as he has a medical condition.

He is described as 170cm tall, with an average build, fair skin and brown hair.

The teen was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey track-pants and black shoes.

Officers urge anyone who sees the boy not to approach him but contact police immediately.
