Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to help locate an 11-year-old boy missing from Margate.

The boy (pictured below) was last seen at an educational facility on Ernest Street at approximately 12.10pm this afternoon. Police believe the boy left the facility on foot.

He is described as Caucasian, about 152cm tall, slim build and has blonde hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a blue and yellow school uniform.

Police hold concerns for the boy's welfare due to his young age and he suffers from a medical condition.
