Police seek help to find missing boy at Westlake

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 14-year-old boy missing from Westlake since mid December.

The boy (pictured) is believed to have travelled to a Morayfield address on Monday December 19 which he left on foot around 5pm and has not been heard from since.

Police hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age.

Investigators believe he may be travelling between Ipswich, Redcliffe and Morayfield via public transport.

The boy is described as Aboriginal, approximately 165cm tall with a proportionate build, with short black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a red jacket, black shorts and black slides.

Police appeal to the boy or anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact them.
