Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 16-year-old girl reported missing in the Mackay region.
She was last seen at a Mangrove Rd, Mackay shopping centre on Friday, December 23, around 12pm and has not made contact with family since.
Police hold concern for the girl's welfare due to her age.
The girl is approximately 170 centimetres tall with a slim build, blonde hair and brown eyes.
Her whereabouts are currently unknown, but she may be travelling in the Mackay area and areas south of Mackay.
Police are appealing to the girl, or anyone with information about her whereabouts, to come forward.
