Police seek help to find missing man at Blue Mountains

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing in the Blue Mountains.

Daniel Barker, aged 41, was last seen in Railway Parade, Wentworth Falls at about 11pm on Saturday 16 May 2020 after being involved in a motor vehicle accident.

At the time, the South Bowenfels man was travelling as a passenger in the car when it collided with a tree.

Daniel was reportedly uninjured and began walking in a westerly direction towards Wentworth Falls train station.

A search was conducted in nearby bushland at the time, however he could not be located and serious concerns are held for his welfare.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, approximately 160cm-170cm tall, thin build with grey and brown short curly hair.

As inquiries continue, detectives would also like to speak to witnesses who may have dashcam footage of the accident.
