Police seek help to find missing person at Darko Prlenda

Police are conducting a land and marine search for missing 46-year-old man Darko PRLENDA, who was last seen at a short-stay caravan park in Kalbarri on Thursday 3 November 2022.

It is believed Mr Prlenda arrived in Kalbarri on Thursday 27 October 2022 and was not due to depart the caravan park until later this week. Despite Mr Prlenda's hire car and belongings remaining at the caravan site, concerns were raised when he was not seen for two days and was reported missing to police on Saturday 5 November 2022.
Since then extensive inquiries and a search operation has been conducted involving police, DFES State Emergency Service volunteers, an AMSA Challenger Jet and a local plane operator.
Today's search activity will include police and DFES Marine Rescue, with a search of the coastline being conducted both north and south of the caravan park, in the vicinity of Red Bluff Beach.
Anyone who sees Mr Prlenda, or who has information regarding his recent movements in the Kalbarri area over the last few days, is asked to call Police on 131 444.
