Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Flemington man Michael.
The 79-year-old is believed to have left a Newmarket Street address sometime between 9.40-11.30am today.
Michael only moved to the area today so has no knowledge of the surrounding area.
Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his age and medical conditions.
Investigators have released an image of Michael in the hope someone can supply information on his current whereabouts.
Michael is Caucasian, about 185cm tall with a medium build and was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, red and black checked-shirt underneath, black leather belt, brown belt and red cowboy boots.
