Police seek information on Aggravated Assault - Palmerston CBD

Northern Territory Police are calling for information in relation to an alleged aggravated assault that occurred yesterday afternoon in the Palmerston CBD.

At about 5:00pm on 23 December 2019, a 41-year-old female and her 48-year-old partner began arguing in the vicinity of the Palmerston Water Tower. The pair moved to the adjacent car park where the female allegedly stabbed the male to his torso before fleeing the location.

The male sustained serious injuries and was conveyed by St John Ambulance to Royal Darwin Hospital for medical treatment.

The female is described as being in her 40's and of Aboriginal appearance. She was last seen wearing a red T-shirt.

Detectives from Serious Crime Squad are requesting assistance from the public to locate the female who they believe may be able to assist with police enquiries.
