Police seek witnesses after Brookfield ramming

Melton Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance after a car deliberately rammed a property in Brookfield this morning.

It is understood a vehicle, believed to be a white Ford Territory SUV, reversed into the front yard of a property on Turpentine Road before crashing into the lounge room of the house about 3.40am.

The occupants, a 42-year-old woman, a 21-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy were inside the house at the time. There were no injuries.

There was extensive structural damage to the property.

Police were told the vehicle fled the scene.

Investigators have released CCTV of a vehicle in the area, in the hope that someone recognises it and can assist with the investigation.
