Police continue to appeal for community assistance to locate missing Labrador woman Jessica Mostyn and her young son.
The pair, aged 32 and 4 have been missing since 4.30 pm last Saturday, March 11 after leaving a Labrador home on foot following a verbal dispute with a person known to them.
Acting Detective Inspector Greg Aubort said Jessica did not have a phone or car, and would be likely approaching members of the public for help.
'Jessica is unlikely to see this message, but if she does I want her to know she is not in trouble and we just want to check on her and her son to make sure they are okay,' Acting Detective Inspector Greg Aubort said.
'She is urged to come forward to a hospital or police station for help and I know our community here will guide her appropriately if she approaches them.
'Members of the public could discreetly call police upon an interaction with her, or begin a conversation about accessing help if they felt comfortable- stressing the point that she is not in trouble and help is available to her.
'Likewise, if you saw the pair across the weekend, whether that was here on the Gold Coast, in Tweed, Brisbane or northern NSW - please call us to let us know so we can further target our search efforts.
'We remain in close contact with Jessica's family and they share our concerns and just want their loved ones home.
'This appeal is all about making sure she and her son are safe - especially with the heavy rains and damp conditions we're experiencing here.'
Jessica is 32-years-old and is described as Caucasian, 164cm tall, with a shaved head and medium build. Jessica is also known to wear various wigs.
She was last seen wearing a pale blue hoodie with maroon tracksuit pants and no shoes.
Her son is 4-years-old, Caucasian with blonde hair and blue eyes last seen wearing blue and orange shorts with no shirt or shoes.
