Police update: Armed robbery, fraud and property charges, Kin Kora

Police have charged a 25-year-old Gladstone woman following further investigations into a series of offences committed on Monday afternoon in the Gladstone area.

Police will allege that at about 5.30pm the woman and a man attended an address in Kin Kora armed with a machete, threatening and assaulting occupants of the address whilst demanding a quantity of property.

Following this incident, it will be alleged the woman then fled the address in a separate vehicle to the man.

She was subsequently refused police bail and charged with two counts of armed robbery and is due to appear before the Gladstone Magistrates Court today.

A 28-year-old Kin Kora man previously charged in connection with this matter appeared before the Gladstone Magistrates Court yesterday where he was remanded in custody to re-appear on December 13.
