Police update: Attempted murder at Chinchilla

Police have released vision of a vehicle they are seeking in connection to a shooting incident in Chinchilla that occurred earlier this month, December 5.

Just before 1.30pm on December 5, three people have attended a Rodger Street address where a confrontation took place with a 36-year-old male resident.

During this altercation, the male resident sustained a gunshot wound to his neck.

The group have then fled the address in a silver utility vehicle with a white bumper.

At the time the 36-year-old man was airlifted in a serious condition from Chinchilla to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

Police are looking for a Mazda BT-50 with a distinctive, damaged, white front bumper.

Anyone who has seen the vehicle, has dashcam footage or knows where the vehicle is now is urged to contact police immediately.

If the vehicle is sighted, do not approach the vehicle or occupants.
