Police investigating the discovery of a man at Killara this morning suffering head injuries, have been told he probably suffered a medical episode before falling onto the roadway.
Emergency services were called to Fiddens Wharf Road after a passing truck driver found a man - believed to be aged in his 40s - lying in the middle of the road at 4.30am (Wednesday 19 October 2022).
The truck driver rendered first aid until police and NSW Ambulance paramedics arrived and the man was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he died a short time later.
Officers from Kuring Gai Police Area Command have been advised the man has now been formally identified.
