Police update: Shooting at Collinsville

Police have charged a man with attempted murder following the wounding of another man this morning in Collinsville.

A 26-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, receiving tainted property (firearm), unlawful possession of weapon – used to commit indictable offence, possession of dangerous drugs (cannabis) and possession of drug utensils.

He is due to appear at Proserpine Magistrates Court on Monday, June 1.
