A third person has been charged following further investigations into a number of property offences and stolen vehicle incidents at Castle Hill on Monday, 11 May.
It will be alleged about 7am, three suspects in a stolen red Kia Cerato and a stolen blue Volkswagen Amarok attempted to gain entry to a number of properties on Gilbert Crescent.
It will be further alleged a 16-year-old Vincent boy gained entry to one address and stole a white Audi RS E-Tron.
Following thorough investigations, police will allege the boy has been involved in further break and enters at North Ward, Mount Lousia, Annadale and Townsville City between 16 April and 13 May.
The 16-year-old boy was located at Pimlico in the early hours of 13 May.
He has since been charged with 14 offences including five counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, three counts of stealing, two counts of enter dwelling and commit, and one count each of driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He was refused police bail and was due to appear in the Townsville Childrens Court today, 14 May.

Operation Yankee Forge is a six-month, district-led, statewide initiative targeting high-harm and high-volume offences, including unlawful use of motor vehicles, unlawful entry and robbery.
The operation will enhance policing activities across Queensland to reduce victim numbers and strengthen community safety.
Police regions, supported by specialist squads, will undertake coordinated disruption activities across the state. Police will target high-harm offenders and work closely with partner agencies to ensure offenders are held accountable. With a strong focus on crime prevention, police will be highly visible as they prevent, disrupt and investigate offending, with particular emphasis on unlawful use, robbery and unlawful entry.
The operation will be locally led and centrally coordinated, leveraging the knowledge and experience of officers who know their communities best.
