The manfacturing sector will today at a senate inquiry plead its case against planned cuts to research and development tax incentives, saying such a cut would run counter to the Government's promise to put it "front and centre" of economic recovery plans.
But the Government says it remains committed to helping the sector transform and rebuild coming out of COVID-19, despite plans to cut the tax incentives.
