Property Crime Charges At Toowoomba

Toowoomba detectives have arrested and charged a man following investigations into multiple property related offences in the Toowoomba area.

It will be alleged the man broke into several businesses in Harristown, Newtown and Oakey on March 12, 13 and 14, stealing a quantity of tools, property and a vehicle.

Its also alleged the man is linked to break ins at businesses in Kearneys Springs, East Toowoomba and Darling Heights on April 2.

Following extensive investigations, police located and arrested a 40-year-old Wilsonton Heights man on Sunday morning, April 7.

He has been charged with 11 counts of enter premises and commit by break, three counts of attempted enter premises by break, and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, stealing, obstruct police, possess dangerous drugs and possess explosive.

He has been remanded in custody and is expected to reappear at Toowoomba Magistrates Court on May 8.
