Property crime charges at Townsville

Police have charged six juveniles following a series of property crimes in the Townsville district this month.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with eight counts of attempted enter with intent, two counts each of burglary and receiving tainted property, and one count each of entering a premises with intent to commit an indictable offence, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing tainted property.

Two boys aged 12 and 13 and a 13-year-old girl have each been charged with one count of unlawful use of motor vehicle.

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with one count of burglary and another 14-year-old boy has been charged with one count of stealing.

The six juveniles are due to appear in Townsville Childrens Court.

Police are also appealing for assistance to locate the owners of two watches found in the possession of one of the juveniles.
