PSO caught drug driving

A protective services officer (PSO) has been fined after being detected drug driving in Lang Lang this afternoon.

State Highway Patrol members pulled over a vehicle travelling at 113km/h in a 100km/h zone on the Bass Highway shortly after 3pm.

The 41-year-old underwent an oral fluid test which came back positive.

He is expected to be fined $962 for drug driving and speeding.

The off-duty PSO will also have his licence suspended for six months.
