PSPA declared, Everton Hills

Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) in relation to the break and enter of a private residence in Everton Hills this morning.

Officers were called to a residence in Atrium Way around 3am today with an emergent declaration called just after 6am. The incident is contained to a home and two people are believed to be inside.

The PSPA is bounded by South Pine Road, Dawson Parade and Gallery Lane.

Specialist police and negotiators are on scene and are talking with a man and a woman.

Residents are urged to remain in their homes while police respond to the incident.
