Public health alert - new venues in western Sydney

​NSW Health is alerting the public that confirmed cases of COVID-19, which will be included in tomorrow's numbers have attended venues in Western Sydney.

Anyone who attended the following venues is considered a close contact and must get tested immediately and isolate for a full 14 days from exposure regardless of the result:

  • Al-Jabr - A Different Class of Mathematics, 37 Queen St, Auburn on Thursday 8 October 2020, between 4:30pm - 8:45 pm and Sunday 11 October 2020, between 10 am - 4:30 pm
  • ACE Tutoring, 25 George St, Parramatta on Saturday 10 October 2020 between 9:30 am - 1:20 pm

Anyone who attended the following venue is considered a casual contact and must monitor for symptoms and get tested immediately if they develop. After testing, they must remain in isolation until a negative test result is received:

  • Westfield Mount Druitt, Cnr Carlisle Ave & Luxford Rd, Mount Druitt on Monday 12 October 2020, between 11:30 am - 1 pm.

Testing numbers have dropped recently, which is a concern. NSW Health is appealing to the community to come forward for testing right away if you have even the mildest of symptoms like a runny nose or scratchy throat, cough, fever or other symptoms that could be COVID-19.
