Public information sought over Kings Park ram raid

Detectives have released CCTV as they continue to investigate the theft of motorcycles stolen in a ram raid in Sydney's west last month.

Police were called to a business on Tattersall Road, Kings Park, about 3.25am Monday 6 November 2023, following reports of a break and enter.

Officers attached to Riverstone Police Area Command arrived and found a white 4WD utility had rammed the front of the showroom, destroying glass panels and damaging motorcycles.

Investigators have now established that five people entered the showroom and removed four motorcycles before leaving the scene in the utility. A crime scene was established and an investigation into the incident began.

As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV footage of five people they believe can assist with the investigation.

CCTV footage shows all five males wearing dark clothing and balaclavas or face coverings. One of those was not wearing shoes but had light-coloured socks on, while another was wearing blue/white Nike Air Jordans, and another was wearing Nike TNs.

The motorcycles stolen were,

  • A red 2022-model Honda crf 250R
  • An orange 2021-model KTM 350 DCF
  • An orange 2023-model KTM250 SXF, and
  • A black/blue 2022-model Yamaha Y2450.

The utility used in the ram raid – a white 2023-model Amarok utility – was reported abandoned in Amos Place, Marayong, about 5pm the same day. It has been taken for forensic examination. The vehicle had been reported stolen from Glenbrook on Saturday 4 November 2023.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident, or who may be offered a motorcycle for sale matching the description of the stolen machines, to come forward.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers: 1800 333 000 or https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au. Information is treated in strict confidence. The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
