REIWA's 2025 Christmas Appeal has come to a close, with members once again showing strong support for Western Australians doing it tough over the festive season.
This year, 39 agencies across Perth and Kalgoorlie opened their doors as collection points for food and gift donations, along with REIWA House in Subiaco.
Together, members collected 76 boxes full of essential items and gifts that will make a practical difference for local families this Christmas.
REIWA President Suzanne Brown thanked the participating agencies for their efforts.
"Every year, our members rally behind the Christmas Appeal and help create a stronger sense of community across WA," she said.
"Christmas can be a hard time for many people. The items donated by our members and their local communities provide practical support as well as a bit of joy.
"We are proud to continue our longstanding partnership with The Salvation Army through Community REInvest, and I want to thank every office that took part this year."
The Salvation Army spokesperson Warren Palmer said the organisation was grateful for the support given to this year's appeal.
"The contributions of many through REIWA members providing this opportunity will help provide essential support, gifts, and meals to individuals and families experiencing hardship during the festive season," he said.
"Indeed, the kindness of many will make a meaningful difference bringing hope and the ability for many to experience the simple joys of Christmas.
"The incredible compassion and commitment from REIWA and participating Community REInvest members together with all who have given truly embodies the spirit of Christmas giving."
Now the attention turns to Christmas Cheer, as Community REInvest sponsors help to sort and display donated items, and assist recipients in selecting gifts for their families, wrapping each to add a special moment on Christmas Day.
Running for over 140 years, the initiative has given comfort and practical support to generations of Western Australians facing hardship.
Thank you to all who donated through their local real estate office. Your support helps the Salvos reach more families each year.
