C-REX is seeking a Swedish-speaking Research Assistant for the SODIS project (Socially Distanced Solidarity: Far-Right Recruitment and Enrolment during the COVID-19 Pandemic) at the Center for Research on Extremism (C-REX) at the University of Oslo, funded by the European Commission's Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.
The Research Assistant will be expected to translate documents from English to Swedish (including a survey questionnaire and informed consent documents), communicate with far-right actors via email, conduct interviews (online) with far-right actors in Swedish, and transcribe interviews from Swedish to English. The bulk of the work is expected to be from August-October, 2022 with translation of documents beginning immediately upon appointment.
The appointment is expected to be about 6 months until autumn 2022, beginning as soon as possible. Total working hours would be between 150-300 hours as long as appropriate number of interviews are secured.
