Researchers Wanted to Improve Health Outcomes

Department of Health

We, along with the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), are seeking nominations for the following joint advisory committees:

These committees advise on key issues affecting Australia's health and medical research landscape and help identify emerging challenges and opportunities.

They contribute to the development of coordinated priorities and funding approaches.

They also strengthen alignment between our MRFF and the NHMRC's Medical Research Endowment Account, helping to maximise the impact of public funds.

We would like to hear from people from diverse backgrounds who are interested in how research can improve social, economic and health outcomes. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • consumers and community members
  • industry representatives
  • philanthropy representatives
  • physicians and other clinicians
  • researchers across a broad range of disciplines (primarily focused on health and medicine) and at all career stages.

All committees will have consumer and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives.

Nominees may be asked to serve more than one committee.
