About myositis
Myositis is a group of rare inflammatory diseases that primarily affect the muscles. These diseases cause muscle weakness and reduced endurance, which can make it difficult to perform everyday activities.
There are several types of myositis, and symptoms can vary from person to person. The diagnosis is made through a combination of clinical examinations, blood tests, and muscle biopsies.
