Robinvale Community Library to open its doors

The much anticipated Robinvale Community Library will open its doors to the community for the first time Monday, 18 January.

Community members are invited to come along to the library between 2pm and 6pm for full use of the new facilities, including meeting spaces, computers, internet access, and spaces for study and quiet reading - or to just have a look around.

Council's Libraries Manager Camille Cullinan said she was thrilled to be opening the Library to the community.

"I think the community is going to be really impressed with the new Library, it's a space that everyone can make use of," she said.

"I encourage people of all ages to come down and check it out."

Little ones have not been forgotten at the Library with a Storytime scheduled for 4pm the same day. And additional Storytimes held at 10.30am on Thursday 21 and Thursday 28 January. Activity packs will also be available for children to pick up during the school holidays.

Opening hours, beginning Monday 18 January, will be Mondays and Wednesdays 2pm-6pm, Thursdays 9am-1pm and Saturdays 10am-12pm.

The new library is a joint project of Regional Development Victoria, the Victorian Education Department, Robinvale College and Swan Hill Rural City Council.
