Rockliff Government's price of power at centre of Liberty Bell Bay collapse
A new report from administrators, EY, has confirmed the price of power was at the centre of the Liberty Bell Bay deal collapse.
The report confirms on July 15th, the Government shut down efforts to deliver a workable power deal.
The Rockliff Government cannot stand back and pretend it did everything it could to save Liberty Bell Bay. It owns Hydro, appoints its board, and sets Tasmania's energy policy.
More than 200 workers have lost their jobs.
It's clear Premier Rockliff doesn't care, Energy Minister Duigan is out of his depth, and Tasmanians are paying the price.
