Sawyers Valley fatal crash 31 July

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are seeking information regarding a fatal crash that occurred in Sawyers Valley yesterday, Sunday 30 July 2023.

About 12.25pm, a black coloured Great Wall utility was travelling east along Great Eastern Highway when approximately 40 metres west of Chidlow Road, the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

The 58-year-old male driver sustained critical injuries in the crash and died at the scene.

Major Crash investigators urge anyone with information relating to this crash, or who saw the black coloured Great Wall utility travelling in the area prior to the crash, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
