  • New Sustainability School for Partners is designed to empower Schneider Electric's partners with skills and knowledge to capitalise on emerging sustainable business opportunities.
  • The program supports partners to move from making a commitment to reducing their ecological footprints and lowering business costs.
  • The program continues Schneider Electric's commitment to helping its partners, and customers, transition to net zero.

Schneider Electric, a leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, has launched its new Sustainability School for Partners.

This innovative program has been specially designed to empower its partners with the skills and knowledge necessary to capitalise on emerging sustainable business and digitalisation opportunities.

"Sustainability is at the forefront of business continuity, and it's important for leaders to understand how to take action and nurture business growth," says Joe Craparotta, Vice President of IT Business at Schneider Electric.

The new initiative offers Schneider Electric's dedicated partners the opportunity to access invaluable knowledge and advice to assist their journey from making sustainability commitments, to taking actions that reduce their ecological footprint, lower OPEX costs, minimise consumption, and optimise CAPEX expenditure.

A key objective of the new program is to give partners the ability to differentiate themselves and meet evolving market and stakeholder demands. By enforcing a sustainability roadmap, partners will gain a competitive edge by showing a holistic approach that demonstrates their commitment to technology stewardship, implementation capability, and sustainability advisory services.

Most prominently, the program aims to prepare participants for a net zero world as Australian businesses look towards taking measures to assist in the journey toward the 2050 target. Businesses have to begin aligning their operations with sustainability standards now, and this program provides Schneider's partners with the critical information and strategies to do so.

Over three chapters, the program will cover a range of topics from energy efficiency and renewable energy to the circular economy and sustainable transportation.

  • Chapter 1: Understanding sustainability and the risks involved [intake now open]

    • In the first chapter, attendees will learn the basics of sustainability, including the science and jargon behind it and why it is crucial for businesses to take environmental, social and governance factors (ESG) seriously.

  • Chapter 2: Discover how to take sustainable action as a company [Launching Q3, 2023]

    • The second chapter focuses on how SMEs can build a decarbonisation strategy, including information on easy-to-implement tools that can support them in decarbonising their own operations and that of their customers.

  • Chapter 3: Leverage sustainable skills to increase business opportunities [Launching Q1, 2024]

    • The third chapter summarises the key knowledge and tools learnt throughout the programme – from energy efficiency to decarbonisation – to support attendees in putting the theory into practice.

"At Schneider Electric, we are committed to making the transition to net zero easier for our partners by equipping them with the knowledge and innovative technology they need to become futureproof. The Sustainability School for Partners is more evidence of our dedication, and we're looking forward to seeing our partners thrive in an environment where the present and future are regarded in tandem," added Craparotta.
