Seaford road rage, South Australia

A man has been arrested following a road rage incident at Seaford this morning.

Just before 10am, Sunday 6 June, police were called to Tiller Drive and Commercial Road after reports of a crash.

It will be alleged the driver of a white utility deliberately reversed into a black SUV at the traffic lights. The driver of the ute then drove through a red light, conducting a u-turn before crashing head-on into the black SUV, causing the SUV to hit a silver Nissan behind her.

The driver of the ute drove away from the scene where it will be further alleged he drove at members of the public standing on the roadside. He then got out of the vehicle starting to run away but he was detained by members of the public until police arrived.

The 39-year-old man from Moana was arrested. He submitted to a breath test and returned a positive reading of 0.151 and has been charged with three counts of acts to endanger life, aggravated due care, and drink driving.

He was issued with a twelve month instant loss of licence, he has been refused police bail and will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court tomorrow.

Thankfully the victim, aged 23 was not injured but extremely shaken by the incident.
