Search and rescue operation, Port Alma at Rockhampton

Queensland Police are coordinating a search operation for a man missing in waters off Port Alma following a marine incident this morning.

Initial information suggests the man fell overboard from a small boat when the vessel struck an object in the water just before 7:30am.

Three other men onboard have been transported to hospital for treatment to injuries.

Water Police, Coast Guard, members of the public and other agencies are currently searching the area.

The man was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and khaki shorts.

Officers are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area, or may have seen the incident to please contact police.
