Search for missing Campsie woman at Berowra, NSW

Police investigating the disappearance of a woman from Campsie have conducted a search of bushland at Berowra today., NSW Police say

Qi Yu, 28, last made communication with family in China about 7.15pm on Friday 8 June 2018.

Officers from Campsie Police Area Command and the State Crime Command Homicide Squad launched an investigation to locate the woman.

Subsequently a 19-year-old man was charged with murder and remains before the courts.

About 8am today (Wednesday 20 June 2018), officers conducted a search of bushland off the Old Pacific Highway at Berowra.

Assisting with the search were officers attached to Campsie Police Area Command, Rescue Squad, Mounted Unit, PORS and Southwest Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about Qi Yu to contact Crime Stoppers.
