Sexual Assault Appeal, Fortitude Valley

Officers from the Fortitude Valley Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing for public assistance to identify a man following an alleged assault in Fortitude Valley on 30 July.

Investigations indicate around 7am, an unknown man approached a woman on Platform 1 at the Fortitude Valley Train Station and assaulted her.

She was not physically injured.

Police have released vision of a man who may be able to assist with enquiries.

The man (pictured) is in his mid-late 20s and was wearing black sports shoes, khaki long pants and a cream jumper.

Anyone who recognises the man depicted in the footage is urged to contact police.
