Major Crash Investigations are seeking information in relation to a fatal crash that occurred in Shelley late yesterday afternoon, Tuesday 19 January 2021.
About 5.25pm, a black Jeep Compass and a blue Yamaha motorcycle collided at the intersection of Cordell Street and Modillion Avenue.
The 17-year-old male rider of the motorcycle received critical injuries and was conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital where he later died.
The 40-year-old female driver of the Jeep was uninjured.
Investigators are urging anyone who saw the crash, or the Jeep Compass or Yamaha motorcycle travelling in the area prior to the crash, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au.
