Kalgoorlie Detectives are investigating an aggravated home burglary in Somerville at around 6.15pm on Tuesday, 22 March 2022.
Two men entered the home and whilst searching for valuables they located a shotgun. The men then threatened the occupant, a man in his 60's with the firearm.
The occupant struggled with the men, during which time the firearm was discharged.
The victim received head and back injuries during the struggle and was treated at Kalgoorlie Hospital.
