New York - The Government of Spain has renewed its partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) through a contribution of USD 7.5 million [EUR 6.5 million] in core resources for 2025. This marks a tenfold increase in Spain's core funding over the past three years.
At a moment where global cooperation is more crucial than ever, Spain's increased commitment to UNDP's global development initiativesunderscores its strong belief in multilateralism and its dedication to helping achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
UNDP's partnership with Spain delivers longlasting results where they are needed the most. By advancing the SDGs in regions such as Latin America, the Caribbean, and Sub-Saharan Africa, and in countries like Ukraine and Lebanon, together we tackle complex challenges from inequality and climate change to electoral processes, crisis response, and human development, to help build a more peaceful, inclusive and sustainable future for all.
UNDP looks forward to continuing the close collaboration with the Government of Spain and our shared mission for a more equitable and prosperous world, where no one is left behind.
