Splash 'N' Vax to boost Covid protection across Hume

Given the ongoing surge of COVID-19 cases in our community, boosting your family's protection has never been more important.

That's why Hume is proud to be launching a variety of walk-in vaccine COVID-19 pop-up clinics across our Aquatic and Leisure Centres, where children 5-11 can get their first kids-sized dose, and ages 16+ can get their first, second or third dose.

The Splash 'N' Vax program will provide easy access to COVID-19 vaccines across our Craigieburn, Sunbury and Broadmeadows sites with extended hours available across weekdays and weekends.

There'll even be the opportunity to go into the draw to win a variety of prizes, including water slide passes and free swim classes for the kids. Don't miss the opportunity to play your part in keeping Hume City protected from COVID-19!

The Splash 'N' Vax program is currently running daily at Splash Aqua Park and Leisure Centre from 3.30-8.30pm on weekdays and 9am-2pm on weekends until March 6.

Details about the upcoming pop-ups at Sunbury and Broadmeadows Aquatic and Leisure Centres will be provided in early March.

Hume City Mayor, Councillor Carly Moore said:

"Every additional COVID-19 dose provides us with an extra layer of security to reduce both transmission and the severity of disease."

"More than 70,000 Hume residents 16 years and over have already had their third dose, which is a crucial step to protect our vulnerable community members."
