Griffith's favourite celebration of spring is set to return, with a vibrant program of events, entertainment and unique experiences on offer throughout Griffith Spring Fest from 11 to 24 October 2026.
Residents and visitors are invited to immerse themselves in two weeks of colour, creativity and community spirit, with something to appeal to all ages and interests.
A highlight of the festival is the iconic Citrus Sculpture display, which will transform Banna Avenue into an outdoor gallery from 11 to 24 October. Created using locally grown oranges and grapefruit, more than 60 colourful sculptures will showcase the region's creativity and rich agricultural heritage.
The festivities continue with the popular Spring Fest Street Party on Friday 16 October, bringing the city centre to life with local food, regional wine and beer, live entertainment and family-friendly activities amongst the illuminated Citrus Sculptures.
Garden enthusiasts will have plenty to enjoy, with Open Gardens Weekend taking place on 17 and 18 October and a series of Garden Bus Tours running on 13, 15, 17, 18, 20 and 22 October. The tours provide a unique opportunity to visit some of Griffith's most beautiful private gardens while enjoying a relaxing day out with fellow garden lovers.
Mayor Doug Curran said Spring Fest celebrates everything that makes Griffith a welcoming and vibrant destination.
"Spring Fest showcases the very best of our region, from our beautiful gardens and thriving food and wine culture to the creativity, passion and community spirit that make Griffith unique," Councillor Curran said.
"Whether you're discovering the Citrus Sculptures, enjoying the Street Party, exploring private gardens or experiencing one of the many events on offer, there is something for everyone to enjoy during Spring Fest."
Visitors can also enjoy exhibitions, cultural experiences, workshops, markets and special events held across the festival period, creating countless opportunities to explore the region and support local businesses.
