Most of the graduates were able to participate in their respective ceremonies in person. Joining them at the venue were President Kazuya Masu, members of the board, deans and directors, and Tokyo Tech Alumni Association President Kiyoto Ido (Class of 1972, Department of Mathematics). Family members, friends, faculty, staff, and graduates who could not be present were able to experience the celebrations virtually via a livestream.

During his speeches, Masu praised Tokyo Tech's newest graduates for their determination, creativity, and resilience, and urged them to continue on their own unique path while sharing their knowledge with the world. "I want you to take pride in being members of Tokyo Tech's tenacious Class of 2021," the president stated.

In his brief addresses, alumnus Ido also offered his congratulations and shared with the graduates his motivating message regarding the future.
