St Kilda Film Festival Regional Tour returning to Euroa Community Cinema

After being cancelled last year due to COVID-19, Council is excited to announce the return of the St Kilda Film Festival Regional Tour.

The event will be held at the Euroa Community Cinema, bringing a taste of the recent 2022 Film Festival program to Strathbogie Shire.

Strathbogie Shire Council Mayor Cr Laura Binks said the event was a chance to discover Australia's diverse filmmaking talent with a curated program featuring 12 of the country's top short films.

The Regional Tour sees the best films of the festival screened at different locations across the state.

Last year was the first time Strathbogie Shire Council has been selected to host a leg of the tour, however, it was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Cr Binks said it was exciting Euroa had been selected for to host a leg of the tour for a second time.

"The films will be presented across two sessions – award winners and director's choice," she said.
