  • Applications for the 2024 Anzac Day Trust Grants are now open
  • Cook Government significantly expanded the State's contribution to the Trust in 2021 delivering over $5 million funding for veterans' groups
  • 2024 Anzac Day Trust Grants program applications close on 30 June 2024

The significantly expanded Anzac Day Trust Grants program is entering its fourth year, which is essential to ensuring Western Australia never forgets the sacrifices our service men and women, and their families have made in defence of our nation.

The annual program delivers vital support to charities and organisations that deliver ground support to our veterans, enhancing the lives of veterans and their families across the State.

This year, the WA Government will contribute $1.3 million to the Anzac Day Trust, to be made available as grants with WA veterans and ex-service organisations now invited to apply for a grant as part of the 2024 program.

One of last year's successful applicants was Working Spirit, who developed the Transition Employment Portal, an online tool that helps employers find veterans and their family members looking for work.

A further $430,000 was delivered to Kaizen K9 and RSLWA for a Psychiatric Assistance Dog Training program. Four dogs are currently in training and will be paired with veterans towards the end of 2024. The program is the first of its kind in WA.

Applications for the 2024 Anzac Day Trust Grants Program close on 30 June 2024.
