Stirling Estate (Capel) serious crash

Major Crash officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Stirling Estate (near Capel) on Saturday 16 November 2019.

Around 8.35am, a blue Kia Rio travelling east along Ludlow Road North and a white Toyota Hilux travelling west, collided head-on near the intersection of Peppermint Grove Road.

A 12-year-old girl who was a front seat passenger in the Kia Rio received serious head injuries and was airlifted to the Perth Children's Hospital for treatment. The 50-year-old female driver of the Kia Rio and another passenger a 13-year-old girl, were conveyed by ambulance to Bunbury Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver and occupants of the Kio Rio are visiting Australia from the United States.

The 57-year-old male driver of the Toyota Hilux and a 55-year-old male passenger, both from the Busselton area received minor injuries.

Major Crash investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or the Kia Rio or Toyota Hilux travelling in the area prior to the crash.
