Stolen Car Crash, Granville

Police are appealing for information following a crash involving a stolen vehicle in Granville last night, 21 May.

Around 10.10pm, police and emergency services were called to Cambridge Street to reports a white Mitsubishi Triton had hit a power pole before spinning out and coming to a stop.

The vehicle had been stolen from a property in Glenwood earlier that day and the driver fled the scene before police arrived.

A subsequent search of the area failed to locate the driver, who remains outstanding.

The male driver is described has having dark skin, black dreadlock hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing black clothing.

Anyone with information or dashcam in the area around the time of the crash is urged to contact police.
