Stolen car linked to crime series, SA

Eastern Adelaide Police have released images of a stolen car and a man wanted for questioning over a recent crime series in the eastern suburbs, according to SA Police.

The white 1997 Ford Laser sedan, registration WAZ249, was stolen from the Elizabeth Railway Station on Tuesday 27 June.

It was used in a petrol drive-off from a Rose Park service station on Saturday 1 July, and spotted leaving the scene of a break-in at a business on The Parade, Beulah Park around 7am on Monday 3 July.

The suspect was caught on CCTV at the service station and is described as a man aged in his early 20s, with a slim build, about 180 cm tall, wearing a black hooded jumper with a white 'No Fear' logo on the front.

It is believed the same man, wearing the same clothing (shown in CCTV), broke into a business on Payneham Road, Payneham about 12.45am on Thursday 6 July.

The stolen Ford Laser has not been recovered. Anyone who spots the stolen car is asked to call 131 444 immediately.
