Police have charged two people and investigations are ongoing following a number of property offences and stolen vehicle incidents at Castle Hill on Monday, 11 May.
It will be alleged about 7am, three unknown suspects in a stolen red Kia Cerato and a stolen blue Volkswagen Amarok attempted to gain entry to a number of properties on Gilbert Cresent.
It will be further alleged the suspects have gained entry to one address and entered a white Audi RS E-Tron.
While allegedly attempting to flee in the Audi, and the two other stolen vehicles, a 53-year-old male resident has arrived in a black Mini Cooper.
The man has attempted to block the Audi in with the Mini Cooper and the vehicle was struck by the Audi and Volkswagen and pushed out of the way.
The 53-year-old man sustained minor injuries and was transported to Townsville University Hospital for treatment.
Following investigations, two people have been arrested and charged.
An 18-year-old Rasmussen woman was charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and appeared in the Townsville Magistrate Court yesterday, 12 May.
A 16-year-old Wulguru boy has been charged with one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and is expected to appear in Townsville Childrens Court on Friday, 15 May.
Police opposed bail and both offenders were remanded in custody.
Investigations remain ongoing.

Operation Yankee Forge is a six-month, district-led, statewide initiative targeting high-harm and high-volume offences, including unlawful use of motor vehicles, unlawful entry and robbery.
The operation will enhance policing activities across Queensland to reduce victim numbers and strengthen community safety.
Police regions, supported by specialist squads, will undertake coordinated disruption activities across the state. Police will target high-harm offenders and work closely with partner agencies to ensure offenders are held accountable. With a strong focus on crime prevention, police will be highly visible as they prevent, disrupt and investigate offending, with particular emphasis on unlawful use, robbery and unlawful entry.
The operation will be locally led and centrally coordinated, leveraging the knowledge and experience of officers who know their communities best.
