Stolen Vehicle Charges, Sunnybank

Police have charged four juveniles in relation to a vehicle stolen from Sunnybank last night, 5 June.

About 7:30pm a blue BYD Shark was allegedly stolen from a carpark in a shopping centre on McCullough Street.

About 8:10pm, Police allegedly sighted the vehicle being driven dangerously in Woodridge.

The vehicle was tracked by police across several Brisbane suburbs before returning to Logan where police successfully deployed a Tyre Deflations Device (TDD) on the vehicle in Woodridge.

The vehicle allegedly continued to drive dangerously before the vehicle lost control on Birun Street, Woodridge. Four juveniles were arrested at the scene.

A 13-year-old Eagleby boy was charged with one count each of unlawful use of motor vehicle in company, dangerous operation of a vehicle, evasion offence at night and driving of motor vehicle without a driver licence. He has been remanded in custody to reappear in Beenleigh Childrens Court on 8 June.

A 13-year-old Waterford West boy was charged with one count of unlawful use of motor vehicle in company and was remanded in custody to reappear in Beenleigh Childrens Court 12 June.

An 11-year-old Waterford West boy was charged with one count each of unlawful use of motor vehicle use was armed in company and possession of a knife in a public place and was remanded in custody to reappear in Beenleigh Childrens Court 12 June.

A 14-year-old Kingston boy was charged with one count of unlawful use of motor vehicle and is due to reappear in the Brisbane Childrens Court on 16 June.
